I read about Texas Pure Products online and since I read about Texas Pure Products online and since I was near Plano, I dropped in and picked up a few bags. I also grabbed this growers mix from Texas Native brand. I've got 2 more flower bed resets planned for 2026, and with more native plants in the future, I will be moving some of the existing tenants out and doing some soil amendment.

At first I thought it was fragrant mistflower emerging in spring, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that it endured winter in a new bed and "rose" triumphant.
