This place is dangerous to the waistline, but oh-so-craveworthy. It's a challenge waiting for the kitchen to whip these up from scratch (about 15-20 minutes if there's no wait). My favorite so far are…

Garlic chives (Allium tuberosum) are putting in th Garlic chives (Allium tuberosum) are putting in the biggest show of blooms yet!

A note: nearly all of my garlic chives are planted in cinderblocks! Due to heavy reseeding they are slowly populating the holes next to them. Some of the clumps also require division, so I just pop them out, sliced them in half and replant. They may struggle for a while, but they always bounce back. My colony keeps growing and they are one of the easiest herbs to grow.

They are a late season pollinator magnet during the broiling heat of summer when most plants are struggling.

The 3rd pic is a mix flat of online order starters. The 7 repotted in green are obviously on their way out.

1️⃣ Is it a penstemon ?
2️⃣ I hope it's spotted beebalm
3️⃣ 4 beebalm and 3 coneflowers from a vendor in NY. This is the 2nd and last time I purchase from there. The packaging was just as bad as the quality of these plugs. The box humidity likely killed these plants. The grey foliage starter on the left came from a different online vendor.
4️⃣ Teucrium marum. This starter plant looks healthy, extremely well packaged, and humidity was managed by sufficient packing material.
