  • Fluffy Fluffy (4/5) on Yelp August 8, 2025
This place is dangerous to the waistline, but oh-so-craveworthy. It's a challenge waiting for the kitchen to whip these up from scratch (about 15-20 minutes if there's no wait). My favorite so far are…
  • Sichuan Kitchen & Poke (4/5) on Yelp July 17, 2025
They got the Sichuan part of the menu right Boiled Sichuan fish was chock full of green peppercorns and flavor. Chongqing chicken was accurately prepared! Eggplant in garlic sauce was delightful. The…

My rescue plants. First 2 are from a wildflower mi My rescue plants. First 2 are from a wildflower mix from @nativegardeners

The 3rd pic is a mix flat of online order starters. The 7 repotted in green are obviously on their way out.

1️⃣ Is it a penstemon ?
2️⃣ I hope it's spotted beebalm
3️⃣ 4 beebalm and 3 coneflowers from a vendor in NY. This is the 2nd and last time I purchase from there. The packaging was just as bad as the quality of these plugs. The box humidity likely killed these plants. The grey foliage starter on the left came from a different online vendor.
4️⃣ Teucrium marum. This starter plant looks healthy, extremely well packaged, and humidity was managed by sufficient packing material.

Prairie verbena aka Dakota mock vervain aka Glandu Prairie verbena aka Dakota mock vervain aka Glandularia bipinnatifida. I purchased 3 starter plants in May from @paintedflowerfarmofficial .

This one I left alone. A 2nd plant is situated in the same bed a couple of feet away. I had moved it, but is bouncing back nicely. Both are on drip line so they are very happy despite this west facing flower bed being blasted by the Texas afternoon sun.

A third specimen is in my raised dry bed, hanging out with the gomphrena and flame acanthus. It only gets water when I remember to hand water, but it too is blooming despite the stressful heat.
